Vacation/Travel Photo

This is a photo I took in Maui and later converted to B&W. I like the way the canoe leads my eye into the photo and the way the shadows convey the direction of light. I'm interested in hearing what others think about what works well or not so well in this photo. Thanks!

Very nice shot, but I'm not sure it works in B & W because those deep shadows seem to obscure the boat.

I like the B&W better, but it wouldnt hurt to lighten the shadows
