Hi everyone,
I'm new here and fairly new to photography. I started in about March time and love it. I have a Canon 7D with a Canon 24-105L f/4 lens and was recently given a Canon 50 f/1.8 lens. (one day I'll get that Canon 50L f1.2!!). A friend asked me to take some pictures of his band this weekend - the place had one spot light for the whole stage and it wasn't the brightest. Ended up taking over 250 pictures eventually trimming down to 50. I had to crank up the ISO to about 1600 so there is some noise but I like the touch in some cases. I've posted the 3 pics below on flickr and was wondering if you would give me some feedback on what you think of them. My favourite picture is actually not posted on flickr but will post it later. This first picture, I added texture too (feel free to berate me for it )All sizes | Between Wars 1 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Picture 2: All sizes | Between Wars 2 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Picture 3: ![]() Between Wars 3 by Jago-ViG, on Flickr All feedback welcome! |

Please take a quick moment to look over the guidelines so you'll know what to include in your posts. Thanks!
