Hi, I am new to the forum. I just come back from a 2 months trip to Vietnam and Cambodia with 3000+ pictures and need now to post process. I really don't know how to start, I shot some in RAW. I used Aperture 3 for the import of my shots, but I am more used to Photoshop.
Here is what Aperture helped me to do, what do you think of it? What do you begin with while processing? Do you have in mind where you want to go with avery shot or do you mostly do random effect and see how it goes? Do you always go through the same pattern for each shot? ![]() Olympus E620, 40-150mm Zuicko EXIF f4,6, 1/160, 70 mm, ISO 250 EV 0, No Flash Late afternoon in Phnom Penh 0 crop

don't like the "cropping" or the zoom in this. You should of gotten at least a full wheel in the shot. other than that I love the colors, but the blue thing is distracting because i cant make out what it is. And is that a pearl necklace?.....??

Since you have over 3000 pictures, I'd start by choosing the ones you really like and then begin on editing them. If I'm very unsure about a few pictures of the same subject then I'll try to play around with different styles in photoshop and then only pick one as a final shot.
