Hi,
This is a photo I recently took of one of my school's double basses. It feels like it it lacking something, but I cannot tell what it is. I think it may be lighting and/or composition If anyone out there could give me some advice on the lighting/composition, it would be much appreciated. ![]() Camera: Canon EOS 450D Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200) Aperture: f/4.5 Focal Length: 37 mm ISO Speed: 100 Flash: On-Camera with Honl Speed Snoot (in open position - like a bounce card-thing) - (would have used off-camera, however, my trigger had a dead battery) |

Thanks for the input.
I decided to add a bit to the edges to allow a closer crop if it needed to be printed at a different ratios. Perhaps I should have added more to the bridge (top) than the bottom.
