Hi everyone, I just want to get better at my shooting so I'm starting to post a few shots I took to get advices from you fellow photographers.



Nikon D40 / (1/80) / f/5.0 / 40 mm / ISO 200 / No Flash

how's the DOF? is it good enough? could have been better? how? Thanx!

I think the dof is fine. Its the angle of the pipe that is bothersome to me. Notice how its a straight line on just one side of the photo? Kind of throws off the balance of the entire image. If you can, I'd try shooting it at an angle so you have leading lines that lead your eyes throughout the entire image
