Default Stepped in front of my shot!

Hi all,

I haven't posted any of my own images for critique in a while and I was going through some images and I came across this one...

Mino Park Candle Road

EXIF Data:
Camera: Canon EOS 7D
Lens: EF 24-105mm L @ 24mm
Tv: 3.2 Seconds
Av: F/5.6
ISO: 400
Date & Time: 2010-8-1 8:03 pm
Shot in RAW and post-processed with Canon Digital Professional and Photoshop CS4

Back story:
I was composing a shot of the waterfall when these two walked into my shot. At first I was kind of bothered by it, but then I thought it was kind of an interesting image so I pushed the shutter. Now that I look at it, however, I am once again not happy.

I am wondering...

1. Does anyone like it? Or like me do they think this is a throw away shot.
2. I don't like that the girl is blurry (because she moved during the long exposure). Anyone else bothered by that?
3. Is the couple too dominant in the image? Would it be better if they were smaller.

Any other comments are welcome.

Thanks a bunch!

P.S. the image without the couple can be found here.

Not a fan of it. I think if you could have seen the picture on his camera more then it would lend some interest to the picture because you're taking a picture of a picture. Kinda of like what we do at weddings some times when we take pictures of the guests taking pictures of the bride and groom. But with those shots we have their screens in focus so we can see what they're seeing.

^^I agree. The people just don't seem interesting enough to me to be anything more than "in the way" of a nice scene.

First of all, I think it's really rude to step in front of someone that is preparing to take a photo. Unless I'm a hired photographer somewhere, I never would do something like that.

Anyway, I prefer the photo without the people.

Thanks everybody. You've pretty much confirmed what I thought.

Thanks

I definitely prefer the shot without the people. That is so rude to step in front of someone taking a shot, did you say anything? I would've!
