My Laughing Buddha

I'm fairly new to photography, at least using a DLSR, but have always enjoyed taking pictures with my little Lumix. I took this using my Canon 450D using 4 miniature Buddha figures and my dining room table.

ISO-400
F/5
Exposure time 1/30 second
Focal length 44mm

How is the picture quality, clarity and depth?

Is this type of picture interesting? If not how could it be improved?

I like it! That said, I would like to see either 5 figurines (one in the front on the right side to create symetry) or just one figurine.

i'd like for you to take a minute to review the faq's for dps......you'll find both the general rules for the site as well as the the particular needs of each of our sections.....you'll find that critique has a few requirements of you.....so please look through them and add in the exif and a specific to your image question.....you may edit your post at any time using the edit button on the lower right.....

since this is your first thread, i hesitate to delete to delete it......just be aware that as you get more accustomed to our site, the modas will be a bit less forgiving.....

It's a good photo. I like to see only one focused Buddha.
I think it's a good idea to re-think the composition. Rule of thirds?

Cheers, I have a fair few of these miniatures, will add one more to the picture and do the same pose again and see what it is like. I was trying not to be to tidy and symmetrical, but the empty space on the right hand side looks like it needs something.
