Post Does this Work as a Composition?

I wanted to take a minimalistic shot composed almost entirely of geometrical entities. So I took this one with its parallel lines, triangles, trapeziods, circles and ovals. Plus I deliberately used diagonal orientation.

Does it really look interesting as a composition or is it too cliched and simplistic?

For me, the door knob has drawn all my attention. As such, I had to go look for the other geometrical entities you refer to in your post. Maybe if you pulled back a little so the doorknob didn't dominate.

For me it doesn't work...all i see is a photo of a door knob.

I think to capture what you wanted with the geometric shapes..think more abstract. Maybe photograph it in a way where i don't know what I'm looking at..maybe that will help the shapes you want to highlight pop out.
