Default Cappuccino, anyone??

Apart from few dark spots, do you like this picture? Anything you would have done differently?

Also let me know if you think the stock agency is going to have a issue with the logo on the cup..

No expert here, but I think I'd have removed the salt shaker (?) if I had noticed it before the shot. Without it the reflection on the table wouldn't go into the cup.

Most likely they will - but that just changes the licensing I think?... I think the background is a touch distracting for me, or, I need another coffee before looking at it!! haha

Yeah, I agree. I thought about it too at that time, I should have removed it.

Yeah, it is probably a little too distracting. I have a similar picture without the barista which is is a little less distracting, but it probably takes something out of the picture as well.

What about a square crop? That would eliminate some of the distraction and focus more attention on the cup.

Nice shot, you will always get my attention with a cappuccino.

I have to agree with more of a square crop. The beam seems to have an angle, which for some reason conflicts with the far end of the table, which appears to make the cup look tilted. When I move the picture on the screen to remove the beam, my eye seems to relax.

I might have tried moving the utensil and the package, on the saucer. Flipping the package would have placed the lettering easier to read (instead of upside down). The utensil, doesn't add anything the way it is. If could see it was a spoon, which I assume it is, then it would add to the image. Not knowing for sure, my eyes are distracted.

Last, my mind really doesnt like how the left is cut off. It is like it is almost there, but not. A little more of a left crop, or showing the entire cup would have helped me.

All just my 2c's, so take it for what its worth...

With all that said, I think this shot has potential, and the DOF and colors are great. If it wasnt so late, I might even make a cappuccino, since you have my mouth watering...
