Can you tell us what kind of feedback you are looking for? It would also help us to give you constructive feedback if you included your exif data.

Yes - take a moment to read through the rules for this section. I've also removed your other post (just one per day) - you can come back with that later this week.

Thanks,

Wulf

Hi Karen
It looks like you were photographing in quite harsh light conditions. Composition wise I would have given more space on the left hand side, so that the boy on the far left has more space (limbs not amputated). There is space on the right to play with. I would also have tried to exclude some of the less interesting foreground, which would have allowed you to include some of the building in the background.

My advice would be to learn how your camera works, and then practice, practice practice
I am not sure what your knowledge is, I normally try and encourage people who are still learning to try and stay away from shooting in auto or program (P) mode, rather shoot on Av right from the beginning. It will be harder for you to start with, but you will learn a lot quicker in the long run. If you stay in the auto modes, the camera does all the thinking for you, and you have very little control over your image.
We all started where you are, so don't give up, keep shooting and ask questions.

Composition wise i would have gotten closer to the boy on the ground maybe set him to the right side of a crop as you have more of the water on the left hand side, and shot from a ground perspective.

As for all the other stuff
the light does seen a bit harsh try shooting at a larger aperature and using a fill flash.

maybe up saturation a tad.

Keep shooting and having fun
