Default Car With Attitude

I was going for something dark around the edges to bring your eye into the middle. In addition, I wanted to make the car appear as though it was sitting there with an attitude.

Does this work?

Is it too dark?

Yellow With Attitude

Camera: Nikon D90
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 70 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Processed HDR in Photomatix

Nice pic but why the middle of the car which is pretty much where the door is?

The colours are nice, but I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to look at. It's not very clear in the framing. It looks like it's a great subject however, so maybe just play around with shooting it from other angles.

I agree mostly, personally I too love the colours, and the subject, but I agree with the different angles. For more attitude, bring more focus to the engine, or those mean a** headers, etc.

Not a bad shot at all, but with that subject, I could spend hours shooting it from every angle I could get my hands on... that's a nice model

Thanks for all the great comments.

I did get a number of good shots, I wasnt sure about this one though.

I was in a tight area, without the proper lens, so had to do the best I could. No excuse, as you have all made great comments, which I will take into consideration next time.

Thanks again, and if I get time I will post some of the others...

other parts of this car show more attitude.

I like dark images, but this is too dark IMHO.
