Default Help: This Old Truck Photo is fighting with me.

I loved this shot when I took it, but it's not cooperating with me very well. I like the composition and subject matter....but something isn't working for me.

Hey Jayden! Compositionally it works for me too, but the only thing that is bugging me about it is the saturation. Try dialing it back a little and see if that works. It has just a little too much contrast for my taste. Hope this helps!

Okay, I toned it down a bit...here is the result if you follow the link.

Do you think it works now? Did I tone it down enough? I myself think reducing the saturation helped a lot. Thanks.

I also did a version in B & W.

Some pictures are easy to edit, and some kick my butt. I think I think trying to remove the green because of the overcast of trees...worked against me. Still looking for advise, criticism, and feedback.

Thanks a bunch.

I agree, it is a nice shot compositionally, but I think it's just a bit too hot on the top right...that glaring white spot almost hurts my eyes to look at. Maybe try bringing the exposure down in that corner a bit.

Hey Jayden! Sorry I forgot to come back to this. But, yeah ks is still right. The top right is a little distracting because it is so blown out. It does, however work better with the b/w!
Have fun, and shoot it some more! That truck probably will not go anywhere for a while!
