Wink Wall Bulb

please let me know if i managed the exposure well and would post production add to the image. What kind of post processing can be done for such an image...
Also i would appreciate critique on how the shot could have been better...
This image from taken in the night with only the bulb giving the light and I had underexposed the shot a bit to bring out the subject...

Good exposure, I like that you did not blow out the highlights of the light.

I would have tightened up the shot. I like the fall-off to black but there it way too much. I get this feeling of a tiny little bulb with all of that space around it.

But there needs to be something more with this image. By itself it is a good experiment in lighting and done well.

This would be a good foundation for a composition shot. Try to composite another image into the light shadows and fade the image to black as well. Maybe a ghostly or haunted feeling. A girls face, a black cat, a tomb stone, something mystical or scary.

Just throwing out ideas.

Thanks

Joe
