Bird Photo in Portfolio?

I took this photo of the Steller's Jay last time I went camping in the mountains. I really love the shot but I'm not sure if it really belongs in my portfolio.

Is this photo appropriate for a portfolio and what do you think about the photo in general?

Without seeing your portfolio, I'd say the bird should put it in his portfolio! It's a great shot of the bird, but it is not a great photograph. I want my portfolio to be nothing but "Wow" shots and while this is a very good shot, it lacks a bit of the 'Wow.'
