Rust Shot

This is the inside of an old tire in my backyard it was here when I got the place, wanted a shot before I get rid of it.

How does this look?
What could I have done better?

Very striking red color! I can see why you wanted to capture this before tossing it. For me, I always think of what the picture is "about," and focus in on that as much as possible. This picture could be capturing the color and texture of the tire. To do that, you could also have gotten closer to that cool surface of the metal and seen how the flaking red rust looked close-up.

Getting closer often adds some extra pizzaz to photos.
