Default Droplets on a Branch

I would appreciate some honest critique on this.

Is the composition ok?
Is this too simple?
Is it interesting, or just another water drop photo?
Is there anything you would have done differently?

Please do not hold back.

I think the composition is good. I like how the red branch is against the green.
simple? Sometimes the simplest of things are the best, so I do not think that it is bad due to its simplicity.
Only thing I would have done differently, or tried to do would have to of taken another picture head on with the branch. As if you are looking done or up the branch.
Just my two cents.

Wow! Your images are really sharp and clear.. I checked out your Flickr stream and was quite impressed. I agree with JohnnyC, I like the color you have going in the image. IMO this image is almost perfect.

If I *had* to say something, the only thing I would say is that compositionally, the branch with droplets is leading the eye upwards, but then doesn't really end or resolve. It just goes out of the frame. This makes my eye feel restless.

If there was a biggest droplet somewhere on the branch then the eye would rest there. Or if there was a leaf somewhere. This is my humble opinion but I like feeling like my eye can rest somewhere on the image. But really great photo!

Beautiful shot, crisp and simple. I love the droplets hanging from the branch. Perhaps I'd have included more of the stem in the frame and got some green on the left of it too. It's seen only partially and due to its position and the fact that it's in shadow, to me the bottom-left corner seems like it's cut off. That's the only disappointing thing.
