Default Botanic Gardens, Sydney

My favourite photo from my walk around the botanic gardens yesterday. Should I have made the statue lighter by using the flash?

Default What about the Rain

Good one Danny.

How did you go with the rain. It was a lousy day, wasn't it.

Cheers,

John W

Hi John. The weather was actually quite beautiful the whole time I was there (11am-1.30pm). It started to rain a bit later.

Hi there, a comment from a new member, who is also new to photography, so take this comment for what it's worth!! I love the yellow of that tree - amazing. But, in my opinion, it competes for attention with the statue. I wonder what the photo would look like in b+w? Or maybe desaturated a bit? I'll leave it to others for their opinion on use of flash.
