Antique keys....a cpl questions

How is...the composition? the editing? the crop? the lighting?

Thanks guys....I took a similar shot with my old Fuji camera...and I loved it...so I wanted to see how my rebel did (and myself) with the same shot.

Beautiful image, it's pretty much perfect. Nice use of DOF and sepia is very fitting.

The only suggestion I'd make is to crop roughly 10% off the top and right-hand side - there's just a bit to much empty space there and it would eliminate the paint detail in the right-bottom corner which is a bit distracting from the main subject.

First, I like the over all tone of the photo - the colours of both the background and the subjects mix really well. The lighting is good too.
I agree with the cropping suggestion. Something might be a bit off with the composition. Perhaps try different formations of the keys? Maybe a Z like one, or both pointing down towards the viewer?
I think however, a greater DOF might be better, or at least more of the key in focus.
