I took this about a month ago and wanted to know what people thought. I'm still experimenting with the concept, but would love to hear what people have to say. A critique would be terribly awesome

What kind of a critique are you looking for? If you ask a specific question about your concept, exposure, lighting, composition, etc., and you will get more critiques. I guarantee it :-)

I was actually looking for a general critique. Lighting and composition mainly. It was my first time playing with light and wanted to hear some tips as well what I did good well at.

good try.....
But...i find something wrong with the composition. may be its too distracting. like, this shining thing is one object, which is distracrted by light in the forefront (Which actually divides ur pic into two distinctive halves. May be in my humble and an inexperienced opinion, may be it lacks cohesion with in itself ... i dont know thats how i looked at it
But try try again, good luck, may be i am wrong some expert can tell u and me as well
