Disclaimer: I am a total noob and have no idea what I am talking about.
That being said, I like it. I've played with light art a little bit, never thought to move the camera instead of the light. To get different thickness of lines I would say maybe moving further away might work. Or you could use different size lights. Use the cardboard over the lens trick to move from one light to the next in the same shot. Same thing with different colors, or you could use photoshop for the colors. If you go to the "How I Took It" forum and find a thread titled Parabolas, there's some awesome stuff there done with a flashlight on a string. Might give you some ideas. There's also an article or thread on here somewhere by a woman who paints with light that is amazing. |
