Default Between the Lines

I am striving to see my surroundings in a different and interesting way. While on a walk with the family I saw this bridge and took 6 or 7 images until I found my subject in the shadows. I am pretty excited about this shot so I need to be humbled so I can continue to improve.

Please let me know if you like the composition.
Is the diagonal leading line "leading" you across the bridge?
Do you find this picture interesting?

Thank you so much

Just my 2 cents worth of thought ....

Personally I find the subject interesting. If I were you, I will move slightly nearer to the edge and rotate slightly to the right to include a bit of the other side of the bridge edge on the extreme right of the pic. I feel this might give a stronger contrast between the solid lines of the bridge edge and shadows to intensified the "leading" feel with a subtle hint of contrast from the soft lines on the ground.

I am a newbie and do not have much experience or knowledge in photography or compositions to critique photos, this is simply, and purely, my personal preference.

again, Just my 2 cents worth of thought ....
