Hello all!
I managed to get this shot a few days ago at a nearby airfield. I was really happy with how the composition and colors turned out, but I still feel like there's something missing from it - although I can't really say what. I don't have a lot of knowledge about post-processing techniques (still trying to learn!), and this one is basically straight out of the camera with some minor adjustments in DPP (Canon's software included with their DSLRs). I feel like this photo has a lot of potential, so if you could suggest anything I could do to help it, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!! ![]() Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500) Aperture: f/9.0 Focal Length: 28 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: Off, Did not fire

Hi,
I love this photo! The story is well represented which is very good. The colors are perfect to me. The focus is perfect: the board AND the plane is in focus. When you say there's something's missing, I think it is the sky: there is too much sky! What you can do is crop left and top a bit. Apart from that, I don't know what you could be better... Only my opinion Have a nice day!

Thank you so much!!
Yes, now that you mention it, the plane might look better if I cut just a hair off of the left side, to frame it better in the corner and not have that awkward extra space on the left. With the high speed and zero warning before the plane flew overhead, this was about as good as I could get. Thanks for the feedback!
