i clicked this pik with my sony w80 cybershot..i want to know how this can be improved or your suggestion how you would have taken it or what things you notice for taking pictures which falls in this category.

I like the colours. But I feel that with other items on the table with highlight on this plate would have made better picture. Cutting of plates disturbs me. Still nice attempt.

What was your white balance set at? This seems overly yellow.

The peas are sharp but then the sharpness falls off. For a picture of the plate of food as a whole, I think you should include the whole plate and give something of the surface it stands on. Food photographs are not easy, but you did well.
