Default Lovely Purple Orchid

My son gave me this lovely orchid for Mother's Day and, of course, I had to take a photo of it. I placed it in front of the window for light. I did some work on it in Corel, no cropping.

Camera: Nikon D3000
Aperture Priority Mode
Exposure: 0.01 sec (1/100)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 22 mm
Kit Lens (18-55mm)
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: +1 EV
Flash: No Flash

Should I crop it to just show one flower? I know it is pretty much centered. What do you think of the placement. Hope someone comments...........

Beautiful flowers. you are very lucky to have someone care enough to give you something so nice.
To be honest, I'm sold on the flowers being right in the middle. Perhaps turn them at a slight angle

Personal preference, but I like giving objects just a bit more breathing room near the borders. Often, if they come right up against the edge, it makes the picture feel a bit claustrophobic. Very pretty picture, though.

I agree with Andrew. I'd probably have given a bit more ambient space to the bottom flower. Still, it's an awesome shot which is only enhanced by the soft green bokeh in the background. Nice!

I also love the bokeh in this shot! Such a pretty picture.

I personally like flowers to the edge of the frame..of course, it is my personal preference!
