Default Meta Shed B&W

I have been away from DPS for a while and saw that I missed the 10 minute assignment but thought I would like to try it. This is what I found just 10 minutes away. I am now interested in doing more B&W photos. This is my first pass at B&W and am open for any and all criticism on how to improve these kind of shots.
Thanks,
BW Metal Sheds c

With the hot spots and the blown out sky its tough to do much with it..I made a few changes to bring some contrast in and got rid of the sky since it was not really helping the image..You have an interesting subject to work with I would just pick a better time of day to shoot it...maybe late afternoon when you have some good shadows across it to get a good range of blacks & whites

Thanks for the help. I guess that I need to pay more attention to time of day and hot spots. You also demonstrate how cropping can help. With this in mind, I will go after some more B&W.
