No this is very good overall
good shilloute this what it should be you can play with the all colour channel to tone it down a touch or you can increase the saturation a bit more if you wish but overall I would leve it as it is well done Cheers

I am going to resist the temptation to add a racy caption to this image and go directly to evaluating its meirts. Compositionally this image works well. The silhouette works well against the bright sky, and I agree that you could increase the saturation to increase the color dynamic without hurting the image. I could wish you had a more cooperative sunrise; something with a bit more drama in it, but, of course, we don't always get what we wish for, do we?

I have to agree with the others. The image is very well done. If you lighten it too much you risk adding distracting detail in the fisherman. The silhouette works very well. The sky could be more, but it wasn't so you can't do must with that. As it is, it is very peaceful and that is good. Well done.

Congratulations!
I particularly like the way the pole leads the eye; you really emphasized how big those sea poles are! The silhouette is excellent too but... I'd like you to have stabilized yourself a bit more. I might even go the other way, concerning the color; subdue it, or sharpen and monochrome the frame even, I love B&W and sepia tones too. Good job. |

Thanks Guys for all the comments.
I really appreciate all the replies and tips. Will definitely work on it a bit more in ps. Just starting to learn the whole ps thing, so still a bit difficult. I agree with the sunset. it was such a bummer, because the previous night was one of those dramatic sunsets !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but didnt have my camera with me. (AAAARRGHH) so I drove all the way the next evening and this was the best I could get. But practice practice practice!!!! |
