Default American Flag

I am very very new to photography so please tell me what I need to do to improve...

Fujifilm Finepix s1500
F-stop f/3.6
Exposure time 1/550
ISO Speed ISO 64
Exposure Bias 0 step
Focal length 25mm
Max apeture 2.97

nice image...just need to true up the colors...is it is now, it is a bit underexposed... the deep blue is headed towards black. The color balance is off as the white isn't white. Fixing those two thisngs will probably end up placing the red correctly...otherwise you will have to eveluate if the red needs any tweaking...

You change your f-stops, and your shutter speed.

Underexposed photos= dark which means that there was not enough light

Overexposed photos= light, which means that there was to much light

By changing your f-stops and shutter speeds you can fix this.

If this photo was taken on auto, I would look into getting you camera looked at, because it could be one or two steps off, and that is why it is underexposed.


Other than that, I would have like to see the flag closer up.
