Default Chains - Please critique

What do you think of the composition? Of the picture in general? What could I have done to make this picture better?

You are very close here. I like the gentle slope of the chain, the light and the overall graphic nature of the image. (Graphic in the sense that artist's use the term; meaning simply, an image that is particularly linear in character.) I don't care for the clutter and the bottom of the blue sky or the vignetting in the upper corner. Given the choice, I would also change the angle a bit, so it looked something like this:

Yes, I could probably spend a couple more minutes cleaning things up a bit but this isn't my image and I just wanted you to get a feel for where I was headed.

I was about to suggest cloning out the wires and the other background and adding some color boost until I saw how LeeR post-processed your image.

Cheers!

I was about to suggest increasing contrast as well, but Lee's done a pretty good job overall.
