everybody wants some love

Every once in a while I take a picture, upload it and think "Hm, I really like this, I wonder what other people really think of it?" And consider posting it here to get some honest feed back but I hardly do. So I'm going to post this one. When I shot it, I was thinking about all the things that I learned. Stuff like don't center the subject. Usually I don't worry about that too much because I think if you center it sometimes it makes it more interesting. I'm babbling. But what do you guys think of it? Was there something I could of done to improve it? Too bright? Too dark? Let me know! I'm here to improve! Give me your worst!

I like the shot but the background could be more out of focus for me

it is a nice shot. I think you can make it a stronger image by cropping it a bit and losing the stick and brown area on the left side.
