Lovely shot indeed. There's always hope. You will need a photo editor software to fix the exposure. If it was recorded in camera RAW format, the results will be better. Softwares examples to edit RAW is Lightroom, Capture 1 Pro, Or the RAW editor that was provided with your camera. If it was captured in JPG, then you could use Photoshop to do it.

you can use photoshop and copy the image in another layer to and set the blending mode to multiply to darken and add more details. there will still remain some overexposed parts. you can select this with quick with a soft brush. then exit quick mask and press ctrl/J to put the selected areas in another layer and set again to multiply.

Thank you both for your great advice. I haven't ventured out of Pisca but obviously I should. I have Lightroom so I will try that and post the results. I must admit I may have to take a workshop on Photoshop...lol. I have tried it a few times with a friend's program. I need to take off work, just to figure it all out.
