Hello and welcome.
You should read the rules, as it is written that you need to post EXIF data in critique section when asking for critique.

Your original photo was missing some contrast, but I think that auto-focus overdid it, too, because there are now some places with complete black, lacking the necessary details.

Thanks for your thoughts. I have just started taking pictures with my D3000, I have always used a point & shoot. How would I get more contrast next time? How do I post the EXIF data? I know, I sound like such as newbie.

Hey, I purposely did it that way for the fun of it...you don't have to tell me I over did it when you don't know my reasoning for doing it!

Just bumped up the levels until everything got pretty dark and silhouetted the foreground trees..finished with a little unsharp mask. Wanted it to look like a scarry night scene..glad you liked it

Is the original picture on Flikr?..you can get the EXIF data there
