Default Too drunk to write anymore

I took this shot during a night out in Seoul. A great bar called 'The Loft'. Lot's of old stuff laying around and an amazing atmosphere. Unfortunately I had limited ability to move things around to create a good composition, but I feel this turned out pretty well. The only thing that I think may be a problem is the bright light behind the chair and possibly the cropping of the bottom of the chair. Does anyone thing these are major issues, or do they work with the rest of the photo? And does the high contrast B&W treatment work for you, or is it a little too much?

Hey, I kind of like the old school look and drama of the image...a little move to your right may have helped block much of that bright spot of a light behind the chair back. Unfortunately, the light was probably needed for your exposure...neat picture though

this works perfectly. the light is fine - really brings out the woord texture, it's kind of hidden by the chair - definately adds more than it takes away. i like this image very much. well done.

I appreciate the feedback Zona, I also felt that it worked ok, but it really helps to get a different set of eyes on it.

I like the overall setting and atmosphere. I'm sure it'll be a good venue for a portrait shoot. Post processing work was spot on, you have nice looking colors here.

Cheers!

I really like it, but agree that the bright light needs to be hidden somehow.

I would think that some clever clone stamp work would be best, rather than resetting the shot

Thanks for the input guys. I had considered trying to clone out the light...but I thought it might look pretty unnatural, as it's quite obvious there is a light source there somewhere, and my cloning skills aren't real sharp yet. I think I'll still give it a go and see what I can come up with.
