Default Moon: First post

Inspired by some of the images of the moon I've seen on here, thought I'd start my first post off with this one. Been shooting moon shots for years, this is the best I've done so far. Just bought an Canon SX20 month or so ago, pretty happy with it.

C & C appreciated.

I've taken all of one moon shot and it was bad. The capture of the moon looks to be a nice shot. You have nice contrast between the moon and the atmosphere. I feel that the moon gets lost being placed dead center of the photo. The negative space is good, but I think placing the moon differently would help the photo. Possibly even cropping a bit more may also help. Hard to know unless you start playing around with it.

Thanks tony & thanks for the feedback Freezeframe.

Attached a slightly different take on it. Also, no pp.

Yes, this is much more appealing to the eye.
