hey, stuart.....welcome to critique.....

before the ball gets rolling, we need a few more details from you.....your exif and a question about your image.....the details are easy and basic.....aperture, shutter speed, iso and flash info......the question can be a bit more intimidating, but if you just tell us what you like or don't like about your image that will usually give our members a "jumping off point" in their critique.....

i do suggest that before your next few threads here at dps you take a minute to review the rules for the section that you're posting in.....that will avoid any unpleasant surprises from the moderation team.....

thanks so much!

Hi Stu,

This is a nice image. I like it. I think that the angle is quite dramatic. There is nice texture in the sky, and I think that the sepia toning works for this subject.

I don't know what kind of critique you would like, be to my mind I think the image would be better with a tighter crop. I would get rid of some of the negative (empty) space to really focus on the subject. Specifically, I would crop tighter on the left side, putting the edge of the windmill in the corner. Bring the top edge down to the top of the subject, but leave some space on the right side of the mill. I think this would increse the dramatic effect of the angle and the movement.

I hope that helps.
