Hey! When i look at any pro's work and then my photos, I find an awning gap left that seems impossible to fill.
I understand asking you to go thru my entire stream is a tall order, but I am struggling to get the right guidance and would deeply appreciate any inputs. Flickr: saeedkm's Photostream 6 months since i got my slr, i think ive got my inspiration in place, but have been straying mostly due to what i believe is the flickr influence, which i think is not the best place to be looking 1. One thing Im sure is bad is my processing (i use lightroom), which is all crappy cos I am intimidated by graphic design as a whole. Can you suggest 2/3 steps that I'm missing, overdoing or just shouldnt be doing 2. or are most of my photographs (composition, light, focal length) crappy in the first place. whats wrong? which ones should i have just not published? 3. is light the problem, i know i havent got the best light in many, but some were defying situations i made the most of I am also including some of my best shots if u really dont have the time... ![]() thanks a ton Last edited by wulf; 03-10-2010 at 12:54 PM. I quit the comment groups because I wanted to see who would follow my work. Flickr has different comment/critique groups that may better support what you are trying to do - I guess it all depends what your goals are, or perhaps it's time for a change in goals.
Am I rambling? On this image I would crop out a few things that can be easily done in LR - there is a clone/heal tool that will help camoflage without having to crop anything out. You are doing just fine - and wulf is right about experience. I will watch your work, Cheers |
