Default Falling Snow and A Lamp

Took this over the snowcalpyse in DC in February. I had just received my camera the day before and I had not played around with a lot of the settings.
EXIF
F/5.6
1/60s
ISO 800
Used Flash
I am looking for comments on composition, clarity and everything else. Thank you in advance.

I like the use of the colors here...

Nice composition, but wouldve maybe been a little better if not centered exactly, but I see what you went for.

The only thing I dont like is the flare or the spots that were caused by the flash firing... I think its distracting.

Good job on getting out in the snow tho! Takes alot!

Thanks Dan. We had so much snow here in DC and i had just gotten my hands on the camera. I did a lot of crazy stuff I normally would not have. Do you think editing out those spots/blotches will help? I also wanted to get a fell of the falling snow in the photo, do you think the picture achieves that? Thank you once again.
