Default Flower...

Camera: Sony DSC-S950
Exposure: 0.025 sec (1/40)
Aperture: f/2.5
Focal Length: 5.8 mm
ISO Speed: 160

I took this shot awhile ago. What do you think? Is the focus on a good spot? What about the colours?

I took it on my Sony Cyber-shot and edited it in Photoshop.

Thanks!
Lindsie

It looks like you may have been focusing just outside the center of the flower. were you using a flash or was this by a bright window? Either way, watch your lighting. You can see how the petal closest to you is totally blown out.
So, did someone get a bouqet for a reason??? very nice

Thanks

I don't think I used flash. I did edit it in Photoshop and i tend to go alittle overbored with brightness Haha. It was actually a bouquet for my mom and I liked the flowers so I took pictures lol

I love the angle you took this from with the background flowers to the right side. Unusual, at least to me. The colors I think could stand to have a bit more saturation. The thing that bothers me most about this photo is the out-of-focus little white flower (babys breath I think it to be) on the right and the fact it's out-of-focus stem comes out through the center of the subject flower. But, nice work with your composition.
