Hey folks,
I'm really proud of this picture. I'm pretty new to this game and I didn't have to post-edit it much at all (a little cropping and some shadow-lightening). I think I could have gotten the horizon straighter. My one question is about the focusing. Focus is obviously set on the top, center of the pinecone. I wish I could have got the whole pinecone focused, but maybe this effect works as well. Thoughts? Nikon D5000 Focal length: app. 18-20 ISO: 200 1/4000 f/3.5 Thanks! The attachment is really, really tiny even when I click on it (128x93px). You might try uploading to a free Flickr account or other photosharing site or attaching a larger version of it. At this size I can't offer any critique. Check the FAQs for hints on how to post from photosharing sites
