Default Hanging on a net

Grabbed this at a basketball game today. Looking for any thoughts whatsoever on the composition. Tell me if you love it, hate it, or anything in between.

Love it. What totally makes it is the shadow in the background.

I really like it. I think I'd like to see some more of the net, maybe the hoop, but I'm not sure.

I actually don't like the shadows. There seems to be a guy palming a ball to the far right, and then to the left of him, a strange 3 pronged shape. The first thing I thought of was a dead animal hanging in a butcher's freezer . I think it'd be really awesome to see a shadow of the hoop, net, and player to complete the forms that you only partially see in the foreground.

That's just me. Great shot, still!

It's simply a great shot! :-)

In my opinion, the shadow to the right distracts the attention from the main subject: the hands hanging on the net. That's why I would crop out the right part of the photo.

Thanks for your thoughts. The "shadows" are actually a banner that's hanging up in the gym, not an actual player.
