Default Cool concept tried here.

This is an interesting capture actually. It is rather dark, and needs a bit of work, and maybe another capture. to find the guns.... If you now take it, and adjust the levels and brightness/contrast, and add this layer as an overlay layer over the original capture, it highlights the effect of the action figure. There is nothing that I can see that can be done to make the guns in the current capture visible, and they are a tiny bit important, Perhaps a daylight capture of the same image, and then overlay this image over this capture setting would let you use layers to expose the guns, and keep the sinister effect of the action figure.

Good attempt...has a very menacing feel to it.

What was the shutter speed? It's a little underexposed

For a shot like this you might want to put the camera on a tripod and play with the exposure settings a bit. I'd stick to ISO 100 or ISO 200 but nothing higher. If you want the entire subject in focus you'll need a smaller aperture (higher f/stop value), a wider lens, and move away from the subject. If you want a shallow DOF then you'll want a bigger aperture (lower f/stop value), a longer lens and stay close to the subject.

Do you have a LED flashlight you could use for this? It might work out a little better. If you want the subject to be brighter, move the flashlight closer. If you want the subject dimmer, move the flashlight away. Make small distance adjustments and keep checking your LCD after your shots.

Do you plan to get a flash? Using flash off-camera will open up a lot of options for you. I shot this image using two grid-snooted 430EX Speedlites triggered by CyberSync radio triggers.

It was at 1/30 so camera shake was there alittle bit, but i can't afford a tripod right now

Sadly i tried to get the DOF less shallow but every time i tried it got alot more underexposed than it is now, plus with decreasing the shutter speed without something to stable the movement made the other attempts blurry

Thanks, Feedback feeds my soul (that sounded a bit dramatic)
