Default Panning Shot

Hi there! I'm new here and an amateur and hobbyist. I'm still learning and I feel really lucky having stumbled to this site. I'd really appreciate your critiques on my shots. Below is a panning shot I took of a red van.

Red Streak

Nikon d200
Exposure 1/20
Aperture f/18
Focal Length 26mm
ISO 100

First word = WOW!

Nice capture there! I think you got exactly what you were looking for!

Seriously those flames on the back and the wing on the top truly make this a nice capture!

I love the colors and blurr!

Good Shot!

Default Way to go!

I can't think of anything to add. It is so sharp and colourful, and the flames / panning enhance each other so well! You even have the leading space for the van to drive into! Keep up the wonderful shots.

Nice! Though I would really like to see a larger version.

I think you did really well on the panning - the lines on the front of the van are great. I also like the double yellow lane separator.

The only suggestion I have would be to zoom out for more leading room.

Thanks!

Yeah, I also thought that the van took too much of the frame.

Thanks! I took maybe a dozen shots of bikers and cars going around the University academic oval here in the Philippines. Almost all of my shots were either blurred or out of focus.

Thanks! I did a little editing in Lightroom. Some contrast and saturation enhancement. I've been trying to study that too.
