I was borrowing a 55-200mm VR lens this morn and got some nice shots... here are a few of my faves... as I love the colors with them....

Power
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/2000) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 82 mm ISO Speed: 200

and
Power
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1250)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 200 mm
Focal Length: 201.6 mm
ISO Speed: 200


I am looking forward to your thoughts and opinions.. but I think this mornin I sold myself on that lens!

I also prefer the second shot, probably because it focuses in what is -- in my opinion -- the most interesting part of the image. And I agree with you, the sky colors are simply great.

Hey Super Dan,

I know what your saying...I've got tons of views and not a single critique. As a total newbie critique is vital BUT anyhow with respect to your pics. I love the second one. The colours (I'm Canadian & that's how we spell it..lol) are great and the composition is cleaner.

I, also prefer the tight crop used in number 2, it loses the clouds, but it hasa better composition.

Thank You ALL for the wonderful reviews! I am very happy with them, and i want to print one for my wall... but am seriously debating which one to print... i know i am at least going 11x14 ... but am torn!
