Default Delilah

My friend's cello I used a black sheet for the backdrop and the cello is propped up on a pillow underneath the other sheet on the floor. I lightened the image some, darkened the background a little bit, clone stamped away some bits of white on the sheet and that's pretty much it. Feedback on composition, position of the cello, color, contrast and anything else would be great. Harsh is good! (But not mean :])

Honestly, I feel like the pillow distracts from the cello. Any way to take the photo without the pillow? It's all i see - "what's that lump in the middle?"

IMO, id like it standing.. and the pic a bit dark. Too nuch noise, due to the high ISO, made it looks kind of blurred..

As well as what has already been mentioned, I find the folds and wrinkles in the sheet a distraction as well.
