Default Leica DLux4 Titanium or sigma dp1

title says it really . looking for a point and shoot so ive always got a camera on board and these are the two that ive fell in love with.
any good folks here own one of these or used one let me know.

I heard there are lots of issues with the Sigma. And people I know what own Leica digital cameras (mostly the M8) have nothing but praise for them. If I had to choose, I'd get the Leica.

At that pricepoint, I'd actually say you might also want to consider the Canon G11 and S90. Also, the Panasonic DMC-LX3 (although it's hard to find in stock), which is essentially a rebadged version of the D-Lux 4, and considerably less expensive.

Also, if you're willing to blow the $700 on a D-Lux4, I'd also recommend researching the micro four-thirds bodies, which have the 2x four-thirds sensor, and interchangeable lenses. The Panasonic G1 with 14-45 kit lens is $614 on Amazon, right now.

LX3 is the exact same camera. If you want to spend that much, get a GF1.
