Default Panasonic & Leica

I've been comparing the Panasonic DMC-FX 30K and the Leica C-Lux 2. In looks and features they seem to be twins. The price is different by about $300. Is the Leica made by Panasonic? It would seem so. I like the features on the Panasonic and have a Nikon Coolpix 3100 which I like but it lacks enough pixels. I want to upgrade and need to know if the Leica lens on the Panasonic is sufficient reason to go to the Panasonic Vs. another Nikon. Any help is greatly appreaciated.

They're the same camera. The Leica has slightly different image processing programming, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra money, unless you really like the way it looks.
