Hi everyone. i am new to this group, but very interested in learning more about photography. I got a new Norcent 10 Mp camera in December. It has a lot of features that I want to learn to use. I was wondering if anyone else has this brand and if they are having luck with it.

Here's a review about the camera when I did a google search. We can't say we find the idea of a 10.1 megapixel image captured with a $200 camera particularly appealing, but we can't really fault Norcent for playing the megapixel game so dang well. Of course, the camera doesn't really have much else going on, but the 2.4-inch LCD doesn't sound too terrible. The maximum ISO, a mere 200, doesn't sound quite as fun, and most other features truly fail to excite. There's some 3x zoom action, VGA video capture and 32MB of built-in memory, and the camera runs on a pair of AA batteries. So, if you're prepared to snap some really crappy pics at incredibly wasteful resolutions, the DC-1020 seems be the way to go, and it should be available now for that very purpose.

The one I have is actually the Norcent DCS-1050. Couldn't find a whole lot of reviews on it. Most of the reviews say the manual sucks, which it does, which is why i'm trying to find someone who may have one. It's fairly new on the market I think. Purchased at "The Source by Circuit City" for $129, which is cheap, I think for all it's features. The ISO goes up to 1600. And you can manually adjust shutter speed and aperature, but I haven't quite figured out when and how to do that yet.
