What's the big advantage to using a medium format type camera over lets' say a canon 5D2 with 20 megapixel for landscape photos?
I've read that some of these cameras can be 40, 50 even 60 megapixel, so is it the ability to blow up that image or do they really capture that much more detail?

I have seen what a Pentax 645D can do. Makes a 5DII look like a P&S. Really, there is that much difference.

Are the medium format cameras able to capture a greater dynamic range than a typical DSLR? They keep making advancements in DSLR technology, but we keep having to fight the dynamic range issue, especially in landscapes.
