Panasonic DMC FZ100 not a true SLR?

Hi ronatube,

Since you also use the DMC-fz100, do you ever use it for indoor shots? (under fluroescent lighting).

If so, can you manage to get clear shots and how? I'm still in the "Time to hit the basics of exposure." -mode and am currently reading the 'Understanding Exposure' book so I haven't really played with the shots since last week.

I just unboxed my Fz100 witch I bought mainly to take pictures to put on websites from small businesses . So I knew I wasn't buying a slr but after seeing the pictures made by ishafizan I wan't to know everything there is to know about this camera.

Could someone point me in the direction of a good tutorial for close up pictures?
I'm having some trouble focusing when I zoom in. I actually find the pictures better with zoom at x1 so I can point the lens 1 cm form object than when zooming in since it becomes 1m when I use x7 or more. I don't get the point of having a x24 zoom? :/

Any help would be much appreciated.
