Hi, I just got a Samsung WD600 as a gift. It's my first "real camera".
There are so many settings that I'm not sure which one to use in a specific situation. I am learning how to use the "ASM" setting, but I'm not ready to use it in a "critical" situation, so when I try to take a picture of an animal, bird, insect, I am using the settings that are already configured. My question is: Is the SCN->Landscape setting the best one to shoot birds/fox/deer, etc... If not, what do you recommend? Thank you, Eric |

google is giving me 0 results, except this post, for a digital camera called that.

The WB600 is actually a pretty good performer.
The Scene modes are automatic ways of getting snapshots of most things, and they're pretty self-explanatory. I wouldnt use the landscape mode for animals though: they're not at all the same. Instead, there should be some kind of "kids" or "pets" setting.
