Panasonic DMC TS2S info

My Son In Law is deploying to Afghanistan and we are looking for a durable point and shoot
for him.
Does any one have info on the Panasonic DMC-TS2S, or any other suggestions for a shockproof dust-proof waterproof camera?

I just ordered it, and I'll let you know how it is, though I will not be able to simulate many of the scenarios he will find himself in. I'll do my best to test it extensively in water and sand (I live right by the beach) and tell you how it handles that - and I'll drop it to see how it holds up!

I did a lot of research on the prior model DMC-TS1, which beat out all the other Tough cameras in almost every area.. From one - two reviews i have seen so far this is still the camera to get, i think your son will be more then happy with it.. I'm plaining on purchasing it for my vacation in December...
